I picked up a bag (2.75 ounces) of Go Lightly Sugar Free Carmels this evening at a nearby store. I'm a sucker for stuff like this. Sugar free, it says in bold print. They're sweetened with Splenda, which I've been trying to avoid as much as possible. Alas, when I look at the detaiis the calories are almost as high as candy flavored with regular sugar. And, to top it off, they're not very good candies. I seem to have lost all the way around on this one. I'd say, unless you're one of those people who just can't have sugar in their diet, this stuff is probably best avoided.
